6. How to Manage Your App and Email Notifications


APP NOTIFICATIONS

Plumtree CC is a big club with lots of teams, and so, as the season gets going and those teams start to select match-day teams and post results, you can see how a member could soon be overwhelmed with information about every squad in the club.

By default, notifications on the Pitchero App are set to ON for ALL news and ALL team events (including squad selections and match results).

Fortunately, the solution is simple! You can individually turn on or off the notifications that you need to know about.

We would recommend ensuring that the Club Notifications remain on so you can continue to be informed of all the news and events we are running. From there, turn notifications on or off for the squads that you would like to be notified about.


To manage your notifications:

  • Open the Pitchero Club app.
  • Click on your Account profile image in the top right of the screen.
  • Select 'Notifications'.
  • Select the teams that you do and do not wish to receive updates from, and select 'Until I turn it back on' when turning off notifications.


EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

As well as notifications through the Pitchero Club app, Plumtree CC will also send communications via email. Ideally, all members will receive emailed communications as well as in-app notifications.

Email preferences are controlled via the Pitchero website and are split into two sections:

  1. Email Updates: This section covers email preferences for emails sent from Plumtree CC. Please ensure these are all enabled to receive essential club information.
  2. Marketing Emails: This section covers email preferences for emails sent by Pitchero and its partners.

You can manage your email preferences online.

Sometimes, emails may not be received despite the email preferences being set correctly. This could be because:

  • A member didn't confirm their email address when setting up their account.
  • Emails are going into a member's spam or junk folders.
